HSC admission: Online application open from Sept 2

Students must submit their applications through the official Class XI admission portal. The primary application fee has been fixed at Tk 220.

Professor Syed Akteruzzaman, Convener of the Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee and Chairman of the Dhaka Education Board, confirmed the schedule. He stated that classes for Class XI will commence on September 23 following the application process, publication of selected candidates' lists, confirmation, and final admissions.

The Ministry of Education and the education boards published the Class XI admission guidelines on August 24. According to the policy, seven per cent of seats will be reserved under quotas, while the remaining 93 per cent will remain open to all candidates based on merit.

Applications will be accepted from September 2 to September 10. Students whose SSC results changed following re-scrutiny can apply or alter their preference list between September 12 and 8:00 PM on September 13.

The first merit list of selected students will be published at 8:00 PM on September 17. Selected candidates must confirm their admission by 8:00 PM on September 19. Failure to confirm selection within the deadline will result in the cancellation of both the selection and the application.

Final admission procedures will take place from September 20 to September 22. Academic classes for the new Class 11 session will officially begin across the country on September 23.
