Four non-armed police inspectors serving in the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) have been transferred and posted to new positions.
DMP Commissioner Mosleh Uddin Ahmed issued an order to this effect on Tuesday (September 1). The order stated that the directive would take effect immediately.
According to the transfer list, Md Moniruzzaman, Inspector (Investigation) of Uttara West Police Station, has been posted as the Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Tejgaon Police Station.
Salah Uddin Kader, Inspector (Operations) of Motijheel Police Station, has been transferred to Ramna Police Station as Inspector (Investigation).
Md Nurul Islam, Inspector (Operations) of Paltan Police Station, has been transferred to Adabor Police Station as Inspector (Investigation).
Sabbir Mohammad Salim, Inspector (Investigation) of Tejgaon Police Station, has been transferred to Uttara West Police Station as Inspector (Investigation).
Copies of the official order have been sent to senior officials, including Additional Police Commissioners, Joint Police Commissioners, and Deputy Police Commissioners, for information and necessary action.
