Women's T20 Asia Cup against Indonesia today

The match at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium will be Bangladesh's first Group B assignment in a tournament that also features defending champions Sri Lanka and hosts the United Arab Emirates.

Three matches have already been played since the tournament got underway a few days ago, but Bangladesh’s campaign starts today.

On paper and in terms of experience, Bangladesh are clear favourites against Indonesia. The 2018 Asia Cup champions are among the established forces in women’s cricket in the region, while Indonesia have qualified for the continental tournament for the first time.

For the newcomers, the immediate challenge will be to test their strength against a vastly more experienced Bangladesh side.
