‘Mirzapur: The Movie’ gets A certificate, runtime revealed

The Movie has received an A certificate from India’s Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) ahead of its scheduled release on September 4.

According to a source close to NDTV, the Gurmmeet Singh-directed film has a runtime of approximately three hours and 17 minutes.

During a promotional event in Bihar, actor Ali Fazal said viewers would not need to rewatch all three seasons of the series before watching the film.

He said watching episodes one to six of the first season would be enough to follow the film’s storyline.

The film continues the battle for control of Mirzapur, with Pankaj Tripathi returning as Kaleen Bhaiya and Ali Fazal reprising his role as Guddu Pandit.

The cast also includes Divyenndu, Jitendra Kumar, Ravi Kishan, Rasika Dugal, Shweta Tripathi and Shriya Pilgaonkar.
