Bangladesh is set to face up to 1,939 megawatts (MW) of load-shedding across different regions during the evening peak hour on Sunday, with Dhaka expected to endure the highest power cuts.
An analysis of data from Power Grid Bangladesh PLC showed the forecast on Sunday afternoon.
According to the forecast, Dhaka is expected to face 569MW of load-shedding during the evening peak, down from 698MW on Saturday.
Mymensingh and Khulna zones are each expected to experience 250MW of load-shedding.
The Rajshahi and Rangpur zones may face 200MW each, while Chattogram and Cumilla are forecast to see 150MW each. Sylhet may experience 100MW of load-shedding.
Barishal is expected to have the lowest load-shedding at 70MW.
