7hrs power outage in several areas from 8AM to 3PM

The authorities have expressed regret for the temporary inconvenience caused to consumers.

According to the Konabari Zonal Office, the affected areas include Kuddus Nagar, Peyara Bagan, Chairman Bari Mor, areas around the jail, Cotton Club, Halima Road, Namapara, 10-Tala, Konabari Housing, Pukurpar, Jarun, Pathanbari Road, Titas Factory Goli, Parijat, Selimnagar, Ambagan, Baghia, Joyertek, Pratabpur, Naser Market, Baraba, Kaler Bhita, Meghlal, Baburchir Mor, Mitali Club, Natun Bazar, China Market, Deowliabari, College Gate, Enayetpur, Club Mor, Sabuj Kanan, Hatimara, Baganbari Chowrasta, Enayetpur School Market, Beltola and the Fire Service area, along with surrounding localities.

The authorities said power supply will be restored as soon as the emergency maintenance work is completed.
