Tragic death of 9-year-old girl in Nandigram

A nine-year-old third grade girl was killed after being allegedly attacked by an unstable mind man in Nandigram upazila of Bogura Friday afternoon.

The crime took place at about 3:00 PM at Mirzapur Pathanpara under Khalta-Majgram union. As per locals' information, Amena was playing with two more children when 35 years old Hossain Mondal allegedly came towards them with a machete and a stick.

While the children were trying to run away from there, Amena fell down and was allegedly stabbed by the machete. The locals hurriedly carried her to the Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital where she breathed her last during the journey.
