They even surprised the fans beating star player-packed Dhaka Abahani in the late 90s.
But, after being relegated from the Dhaka Senior Division Football League in 1994, the club failed to recover their lost pride soon.
The Fakirerpool outfits succeeded to win Senior Division event in 2014 and were promoted to Bangladesh Championship League. Yet they managed to escape the relegation for a single point last year, they formed a strong team this year and succeeded to restore their lost pride. Now it's time to see what they do in the Bangladesh Premier League.
