Butcher found dead in Munshiganj

MUNSHIGANJ, June 15: Police recovered the body of a butcher next to his house in Purba Shilmandi Jasimnagar area of Munshiganj Sadar on Sunday morning. 

Police guess that he might have been stabbed to death by his opponent over a money transaction dispute.

The deceased Arif Bepari, 30, worked as a butcher in the local market.

Relatives said that Arif's younger brother Akash had a money dispute with another local butcher named Nur Mohammad. During a clash between two sides in Munshiganj Bazar on Saturday morning, opponents stabbed Arif to death after not finding Akash. On information, police recovered the body on Sunday morning.
