Youth found dead in Gopalganj

GOPALGANJ, June 13: Police recovered the body of a young man from a pond near the house of Mrinal Biswas in Charmanikdaha Village of Sadar Upazila of the district on Saturday morning, three days after he went missing. 

Deceased Shahin Sheikh, 18, was the son of Rabiul Sheikh of neighbouring Ghosherchar Paschimpara Village.

Gopalganj Sadar Police Station SI Shafiqul Islam said that after he went missing, family members searched in different places but could not find him. On Saturday, locals found the body in the pond and informed the police. 

The police later recovered the body and sent it to the Gopalganj morgue for an autopsy.
