Five dead, 20 injured in Gopalganj road accident

Five have died and 20 others were injured in a road accident in Gopalganj on Thursday afternoon.

The accident took place during a head-on collision between a passenger bus named Dola Paribahan and a motorcycle in Bedgram village of the district.

Identities of the deceased, however, could not be confirmed immediately. Authorities concerned said the injured had been admitted to different hospitals for treatment.

According to reports, two of the deceased were motorcyclists and three were bus passengers.

Superintendent of Police Md Habibullah and Gopalganj Fire Service Inspector Niamul Huda confirmed matter.
