Meet on law & order held in Rajbari

RAJBARI, May 10: The monthly meeting of the District Law and Order Committee was held in the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner (DC) on Sunday morning under the chairmanship of DC and District Magistrate Afroza Parveen.

Among others present were District Civil Surgeon Dr SM Masud, District Magistrate Uchhen May, Major Sifat in charge of the Army Camp, Additional Superintended of Police of the District Police Md Shamsul Haque, Assistant Director of NSI Jitendra Mohan Sinha, Gazi Ahsan Habib of District BNP, Rajbari Press Club President Kazi Abdul Quddus, Deputy Director of Sadar Hospital Dr Mohammad Abdul Hannan, and President of Rajbari Chamber and Commerce Enamul Kabir.

DC Afroza Parveen, in her speech, said that there is a trend of child marriage through fake certificates through notary public and urged everyone to be careful in this connection. A strict stance should be taken on the policy of zero tolerance against drugs.
