4 killed as two buses collide head-on in Ctg

Four persons were killed and at least 15 injured after two bus collided in Chattogram's Lohagara upazila on Saturday morning.

The accident occurred at about 11AM on the Chattogram-Cox's Bazar highway.

According to police and eye witnesses, a Chattogram-bound Marsa Paribahan bus collided with another bus of same company heading towards Cox's Bazar near Hotel Four Season. The later bus ploughed through a roadside shop, leaving one dead on the spot. 

Three other injured succumbed to their injuries at Lohagara Trauma Centre.

The deceased could not be identified yet.

The bodies will be handed over through legal procedure, said Dohajari Highway Police Station OC Salah Uddin Chowdhury.
