Supporters' Forum awards best players, coaches and referees

Country's largest football fan-based group Bangladesh Football Supporters' Forum (BFSF) on Saturday awarded the best players, coaches, referees and supporter of the lately finished JB Bangladesh Primer League 2015-16 at the Dutch-Bangla Bank Auditorium of Bangladesh Olympic Association in Dhaka.
Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) Vice-president Badal Roy was present in the award giving ceremony of the BFSF as chief guest and handed over the awards among the awardees while Bangladesh Olympic Association (BOA) member Khondkar Hassan Munir attended the programme as special guest. BFSF General Secretary Shahadat Hossain Jubaer, among the others, was present in there.
Forum President Qazi Shahieedul Alam presided over the programme.
Uttar Baridhara booter Khalekurjama Sabuj was given the best defender award while Dhaka Abahani booter Imon Mahmud was given the best midfielder award, Dhaka Mohammedan booter Tauhidul Alam Sabuj got the best striker award, and Chittagong Abahani's Ashraful Islam Rana received the best custodian award.
Jewel Rana was named the best footballer of the last BPL while Arambagh's Sajeedur Rahman Sajeed was name the highest scorer and Zafar Iqubal was honoured as the best rising player.
Rahmatganj Muslim Friend Society coach Kamal Babu was awarded as the best head coach while Chittagong Abanahi's Zulfikar Mahmud Mintu as best assistant coach and Muktijoddha's Nuruzzaman Nayan as best goalkeeping coach.
Azad Rahman was given the best referee award while Nuruzzaman and Mahmud Zamal Faruqee Nahid received award as the best assistant referees.
Famous Ata vai got the best supporter award.
Badal Roy wished that the awarded booters would try to continue their performance in future as well.   He said, "Now, it's your duty to do justice to this award. It's your duty to maintain the honour of the award that you receive today. It's not just an award only but also a responsibility."
"In these days, we see that the booters began to idealise themselves as start footballers which is a big problem of our new booters are going through right now. For the same reason, Zahid Hasan has ruined his fame who was once a favourite player of mine," said the BFF official.
Badal believe that the recent bad condition of football is not a result of players bad performance and he criticised the clubs that were failing to do productive tasks.
Praising Rahmatganj Muslim Friend Society coach Kamal Babu for his great achievement who succeeded to raise the club to a good level with a low budget team.
Former Mohammedan player Badal said that his club gave a relegation fight this time which was a matter of shame for him.
Criticising the current committee of the club, the BFF Vice-president asked them to left the post if they cannot do well.
