After declining in two consecutive phases, gold prices have been increased again in the country's market.
The price of 22-carat gold has been raised by Tk 3,266 per bhori, setting the new rate at Tk 2,58,824.
The new price was fixed by the Bangladesh Jewellers Association (BAJUS) and came into effect from 10:15am on Saturday.
According to the association, the revised rate applies nationwide and reflects the latest adjustments in the gold market in Bangladesh.
As per the new decision, the price of 21-carat gold will now Tk 21,185 per gramme, 18-carat gold Tk 18,155 a gramme.
