37 houses ready for new cabinet members: Adviser Adilur

Housing and Public Works Adviser Adilur Rahman Khan has said that 37 official residences are ready for members of the new cabinet.

''The Prime Minister's residence will be arranged according to the BNP's preferences,'' said the adviser while briefing the journalists.

Adilur Rahman said that decisions regarding the Prime Minister's residence will be made in consultation with the BNP and it will be arranged according to their preferences. So far, 37 houses have been prepared for ministers and state ministers in Mintoo Road, Hair Road, Dhanmondi, and Gulshan in the capital.

''Preparations are underway to create a few more houses if needed, which will be ready by the time of the oath-taking.''
While responding, the adviser said, ''Questions regarding the TIB report on corruption should be directed to them. Public discussions and the TIB report do not necessarily align. Speaking with those who were on the streets during the anti-fascism movement, might present a different picture.
