Mentioning that the advisers of the interim government as 'the proud sons of the nation', Chief Adviser's Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam has confirmed that none of the advisers are leaving the country.

''All will attend the swearing-in ceremony of the new government.''

He made the remarks following the final meeting of the Advisory Council in capital's Tejgaon on Sunday.

"On the day of the event, they will travel in flag-bearing vehicles, though the flags will be removed on their return home," Shafiqul Alam said.
The Press Secretary described the recent national election as a 'major success.' Law enforcement agencies, including the police, Border Guard Bangladesh, Coast Guard, Ansar and the armed forces, carried out their duties professionally.

Newly elected MPs will take their oath at the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban at 10AM on Tuesday (February 17), followed by the swearing-in of the new Prime Minister and Cabinet members at the South Plaza at 4PM.
