BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman paid courtesy visits to Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Shafiqur Rahman and National Citizen Party (NCP) Convener Nahid Islam on Sunday.
Shafiqur Rahman and Nahid Islam welcomed Tarique Rahman with flowers during the visits.
Following the BNP's landslide victory in the 13th National Parliament election, Tarique Rahman visited the Jamaat Ameer's residence in the Bashundhara Residential Area of the capital at 7:10 pm.
After the meeting, his vehicle left the residence at 7:58pm and proceeded to Nahid Islam's home. Tarique Rahman arrived at Nahid Islam's Bailey Road residence at 8:27 pm.
NCP leaders Akhtar Hossain and Sarjis Alam were present at Nahid Islam's residence during the visit.
Meanwhile, BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, Standing Committee member Nazrul Islam Khan, Jamaat Nayeb-e-Ameer Abdullah Muhammad Taher, and Publicity Department Head Ahsanul Mahboob Zubair attended the ceremony.
