Inter-Univ Table Tennis Fest begins today 

The Turaag Active Presents Inter-University Table Tennis Fest 2026 is beginning today (Monday) at the Wooden Floor Gymnasium in Paltan, Dhaka.

Around 200 paddlers from 30 public and private universities across the country will contest the two-day tournament, which features men's team and women's singles events. Traditional powerhouses will lock horns with leading private institutions there. University of Dhaka's Hridoy, Mou and Tushi, IUB's Ramhim and Sabbir, Northern University's Iman, and Daffodil International University's Sajib, Promit, Tuba and Mahir are expected to light up the hall with blistering forehands and deft backhand counters.
Federation officials believe the festival will strengthen the grassroots pipeline and widen the sport's footprint among young athletes. The curtain will fall with the closing and prize-giving ceremony on 17 February, bringing down the final smash on what expected to be a pulsating university spectacle.
