Newly elected MPs to take oath at 10AM on Tuesday

The newly elected lawmakers will take oath during the first hour on Tuesday (February 17). 

Most probably, Chief Election Commissioner will administer the oath at 10AM at the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban, said Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Adviser Dr Asif Nazrul.

Quoting the BNP party sources, the adviser said right after the oath-taking of the MPs, they will elect their leader of the parliamentary team at the same place.

''It would probably take place from 11:30AM to 12noon.''

Asif Nazrul added, ''The oath-taking of the cabinet members will take place on the South Plaza of the National Parliament Building at 4PM.''
