No victory rally, BNP calls for nationwide prayers

BNP has called for restraint and nationwide prayers rather than public celebrations for winning in the 13th National Parliamentary Election.

BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman has directed leaders and activists to offer special prayers across the country after Jum'a prayers on Friday, a notice confirmed this.

He has also asked party leaders and supporters not to organise any victory rallies or gatherings anywhere in the country.
