BNP’s Fazlur Rahman unofficially wins Kishoreganj-4 seat

BNP-nominated candidate Advocate Fazlur Rahman has been unofficially declared winner in Kishoreganj-4 constituency following the completion of vote counting on Thursday.

According to the district election officer, Fazlur Rahman secured 132,553 votes across 150 polling centres in the constituency.

His nearest rival, Advocate Sheikh Md. Rokun Reza; a former central leader of Islami Chhatra Shibir and currently Secretary of the Legal Affairs Department of Jamaat-e-Islami’s Dhaka North City unit, received 55,646 votes.

The result was announced unofficially after vote counting concluded, with formal confirmation to follow through the official gazette notification.
