Jatiya Nagarik Party (NCP) Chief Organiser of southern region and parliamentary candidate for Cumilla-4Hasnat Abdullah, said that the entire country is now united and the people are eager to vote for the 11-party alliance.
He made the remarks while addressing a large election rally as the chief guest on Wednesday (February 4) afternoon at the Nabinagar Government High School ground in Brahmanbaria.
The rally was organized by the 11-party alliance in support of Mufti Amjad Hossain Ashrafi, the alliance-backed parliamentary candidate for Brahmanbaria-5 (Nabinagar) constituency from Bangladesh Khelafat Majlish.
Hasnat Abdullah said that people have trust in the alliance and that Bangladesh is not safe in the hands of extortionists. “That is why the people want change, and support for the 11-party alliance is growing day by day,” he said.
Addressing the youth, he urged them to remain united and help ensure a fair voting environment. “People are ready to vote for us. We must cooperate to ensure they can cast their votes freely so that the 11-party alliance can win and come to state power,” he added.
The rally was presided over by Mokhlesur Rahman, Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami’s Nabinagar Upazila unit.
The chief speaker at the event was Maulana Md. Mobarak Hossain, Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami, Brahmanbaria district unit.
Special guests included Advocate Abdul Baten, Executive Member of Jamaat-e-Islami, Supreme Court unit.
Among the invited guests were Maulana Emdadul Haque Siraji, Maulana Mainul Islam Khandakar, Maulana Tajul Islam, Abdullah Al Mahmud Jihan, ABM Kabir Alam Masud, Md. Aminul Haque Chowdhury, along with many other leaders and activists.
