Sherpur Jamaat candidate Nuruzzaman Badal dies

Jamaat-e-Islami Sherpur district secretary and candidate for Sherpur-3 (Sreebordi-Jhenaigati) constituency Md Nuruzzaman Badal passed away early Wednesday.

He breathed his last at a hospital in Mymensingh at about 2AM, confirmed Hafizur Rahman, chief of the Sherpur district Jamaat.

Jamaat-e-Islami also confirmed the death news on its official Facebook page.

Hafizur Rahman said, Nuruzzaman Badal, 51, had been suffering from kidney disease for a long time. Doctors had advised him to transplant kidney. But ahead of the national election, he underwent dialysis every day at a private hospital in Mymensingh. On Tuesday night, as Badol had been suffering from respiratory problem, he was initially taken to the Sreebordi Upazila Health Complex. Later, he breathed his last around 2AM while being shifted to Mymensingh Sodesh Hospital.
