Transcom chair Shahnaz, CEO Simeen get bail

A court has granted bail to Transcom Group Chairperson Shahnaz Rahman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Simeen Rahman in a case over the embezzlement of the group's shares.

Earlier, arrest warrants were issued against the two, along with another accused.
On Wednesday, Shahnaz Rahman and Simeen Rahman surrendered before Metropolitan Magistrate Jewel Rana's court and sought bail.

After a. hearing, the court granted their bail petitions, Prosecution Department Sub-Inspector Muktar Hossain said. �"bdnews24
