Mirza Fakhrul holds meeting with CEC

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir held a meeting with Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) on Sunday (January 18).

Mirza Fakhrul entered the CEC’s office at around 4:45 pm to attend the meeting at the Election Commission (EC) Secretariat. He was accompanied by a three-member delegation.

The delegation included BNP Standing Committee member Nazrul Islam Khan, Advisory Council member Ismail Zabiullah, and former Acting Secretary of the Election Commission Mohammad Zakaria.
Senior Secretary of the Election Commission Akhtar Ahmed was also present at the meeting.

The meeting comes amid ongoing political developments surrounding the upcoming election process.
