OMCH interns go on strike protesting attack on fellow 

Relatives of patients have attacked intern doctors and staff of the Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital alleging negligence in treatment.

That time a female intern doctor and four other hospital staff were injured. Later, police have detained three individuals in connection with the incident.

Following the attack on Friday night, intern doctors have been observing an indefinite work stoppage, demanding a safe working environment. However, hospital services are continuing with mid-level doctors and other relevant staff remaining on duty.
