Mini marathon held in Magura with slogan 'Say No to Drugs'

A mini marathon held in the district on Friday morning with the slogan "Say No to Drugs".

The event was organised by Trimatrik Welfare Association and started at 7:00 am from Magura Stadium.

More than 200 participants, including students from various educational institutions, guardians, and representatives of government and non-government organisations, took part in the marathon.

The five-kilometre race passed through New Market, Chowrangi Intersection and Dhaka Road, circled Vayna Mor, and concluded at Magura Stadium.

Hasibul Islam secured first place by completing the race in 18 minutes. Humama finished second, while Nikunja Das secured third place.

After the competition, Industries Secretary Obaidur Rahman distributed prizes as the chief guest. He handed over honorary medals and tracksuits to the winners. "BSS
