Election Commission (EC) has urged voters who registered for the 13th general election and referendum to contact its call centre to reset their passwords for the “Postal Vote BD” application.
In a statement issued on Friday, EC said affected voters should reach out to the designated call centre to complete the password reset process.
The service is available 24 hours a day. Voters can contact the hotline at +8809610000105 or communicate via WhatsApp using the numbers +8801335149920, +8801335149923–32 and +8801777770562.
According to official figures, a total of 1,533,683 voters have registered to cast their ballots through the postal voting system for the upcoming national election and referendum.
Among them, 761,141 voters registered under the in-country postal voting category, while 772,542 expatriate voters enrolled from various countries around the world.
Election Commissioner Brigadier General (retd) Abul Fazal Md Sanaullah told reporters that 767,084 ballot papers have so far been dispatched to overseas Bangladeshi voters through Bangladesh Post Office. Of these, 140,873 ballots have already been received by expatriates.
