BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman on Wednesday held a meeting with leaders of the 12-party alliance at his political office in Gulshan.
According to the BNP media cell, the meeting was a courtesy call by alliance partners following Tarique Rahman's assumption of office as BNP Chairman. It was held in the spirit of political courtesy, mutual cooperation, and continued alliance relations.
During the meeting, Tarique Rahman exchanged greetings with the alliance leaders, inquired about their well-being, and shared views in a cordial and friendly atmosphere.
BNP Standing Committee member Nazrul Islam Khan was present at the meeting. Leaders of the 12-party alliance, including Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Bangladesh Secretary General Mufti Golam Mohiuddin Ikram, Islami Oikya Jote Secretary General Maulana Abdul Karim, and several other senior alliance leaders, also attended.
