Dhaka and Panchagarh have advanced to the final of the TCL Men's National Youth Handball Championship 2026, now entering its concluding stage at the Shaheed M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium, Paltan in Dhaka.
The final will be held today (Thursday) at 3:00 pm, with Panchagarh set to face Dhaka for the title. Earlier in the day, at 1:00 pm, Kushtia will take on Jashore in the third-place play-off.
On the fourth day of the competition, on Wednesday, Panchagarh produced a dominant display in the first semi-final, defeating Jashore 37-18. Panchagarh established control early and went into half-time with a commanding 17-6 lead.
In the second semi-final, Dhaka secured their place in the final with a 35-29 victory over Kushtia. The match was closely contested in the first half, with Dhaka holding a narrow 17-15 advantage at the break before pulling clear in the second period.
Following the final, the champions will receive their trophies and awards from the chief guest Tanvir Ahmed, Managing Director of the tournament's sponsor Tanvir Constructions Ltd (TCL).
