Training on Unprofessional Journalism held in Tangail

TANGAIL, Jan 14: A day-long training workshop on 'Preventing Unprofessional Journalism in Media and Presenting Objective News' was held inthe conference room of Tangail Circuit House.

The Press Council organised the workshop for journalists from print and electronic media in the district on Wednesday.

The workshop was chaired by Tangail Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Sanjay Kumar Mohanta. The chief guest was Justice AKM Abdul Hakim, Chairman of the Bangladesh Press Council.
The special guest was Police Superintendent Muhammad Shamsul Alam Sarkar. The session was conducted by resource person Md. Abdus Sabur, Secretary (Deputy Secretary) of the Bangladesh Press Council.

Members of the Tangail Print Media Association and the Tangail Union of Journalists participated in the training workshop. Certificates were later distributed among the participating journalists.
