Bangladesh has set a Guinness World Records title by flying the highest number of national flags simultaneously during a skydiving operation in Dhaka on Victory Day, December 16, 2025.

Guinness World Records has officially confirmed that Bangladesh set the record for Most Flags Flown Simultaneously While Skydiving (Parachute Jump) by hoisting 54 national flags at the same time.

The record-setting event, planned and executed by the Armed Forces Division, was carried out in Dhaka with the participation of skilled skydivers from Bangladesh Armed Forces, including trained paratroopers and Chowdhury Ashik Mahmud Bin Harun of Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA).

During the jump, 54 red-and-green flags of Bangladesh were unfurled in the sky, symbolizing the nation’s 54th Victory Day and showcasing unity, courage, and operational excellence. With this achievement, Team Bangladesh has been recognized as an official Guinness World Records title holder.

According to the Guinness World Records management team, the initiative aimed to commemorate Victory Day on a global platform while bringing together skydivers from across the country to deliver a powerful message of national pride and collective strength.

The Inter-Services Public Relations directorate said the achievement reflects the nation’s confidence, discipline, and the professionalism of its armed forces, describing the moment as a source of lasting inspiration for future generations.
