The TCL National Youth Men's Handball Championship 2026 continued at the M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium in Paltan, Dhaka on Monday, with Dhaka, Jashore, Panchagarh and Mymensingh emerging victorious on the second day of competition on Monday.
Dhaka opened the day in commanding fashion, beating Jamalpur 42-12 after leading 19-8 at half-time. In the next match, Jashore secured a convincing 37-21 win over Faridpur, having taken a 23-13 advantage into the break.
Panchagarh registered an impressive performance in the day's third match, defeating Chapainawabganj 30-16. Panchagarh were firmly in control from early on and led 16-8 at half-time.
In another encounter, Mymensingh bounced back strongly to defeat Madaripur 42-26. Despite trailing 17-8 at half-time, Mymensingh dominated the second half to seal the win.
In a closely fought contest later in the day, Panchagarh claimed their second win of the tournament by overcoming Kushtia 29-24. Panchagarh led 16-13 at the interval and held their nerve in the final stages.
Jashore also recorded their second victory of the championship, producing a dominant display to beat Narail 36-13. They went into half-time with a comfortable 20-6 lead and maintained control throughout.
Ten district teams are competing in the tournament, split into two groups, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the semi-finals. The final of the championship will be held on Thursday, 15 January.
