Two people have been killed in separate stabbing incidents in Chattogram city's Port Colony and Hathazari.

In the Port Colony incident, a man identified as Aziar Rahman was found critically injured on Nimtala Road around 1:30am on Sunday. Police took him to a hospital, where he later died.

Md Abdur Rahim, chief of Bandar Police Station, said initial findings suggested the man had been stabbed elsewhere before making his way to the port area. He added that an investigation was under way to identify those responsible.

In the other incident, a microbus driver died after being stabbed at the Hathazari bus terminal.

The body of 35-year-old Mahbubul Alam was found late on Saturday night in the Kalabagan area of the bus stand, according to police. "bdnews24
