Dear Sir,
Every year, grand celebrations mark Thirty-First Night across the world, and Bangladesh is no exception. However, when celebration turns into disturbance and loss for others, it loses its meaning. Loud music and fireworks in residential areas terrify sleeping people, patients, children, and the elderly. Innocent animals suffer too-birds die in panic, and many animals flee helplessly in search of shelter.
How can something that frightens people, harms animals, and damages the environment truly bring joy? Thirty-First Night marks the end of one chapter of life and the beginning of another filled with possibility. This night can be celebrated through moderation, kindness, and good deeds. Instead of showcasing noise and fireworks, let us share stories of humanity, compassion, and smiles brought to those in need.
