BREB expresses condolences over the demise of Begum Khaleda Zia

The Bangladesh Rural Electrification Board (BREB) has expressed deep sorrow at the demise of Begum Khaleda Zia, three-time former Prime Minister and Chairperson of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP).

On Tuesday, the Board, along with all the rural electrification cooperatives under it, expressed this sorrow in a condolence message, says a press release.
The condolence message stated that former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia (Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un) passed away at Evercare Hospital in the capital at 6 a.m. today while undergoing treatment. The Board and all officials and employees of the rural electrification cooperatives are deeply saddened and shocked by the passing of this unwavering leader of the movement to restore democracy.

The Board further noted that the passing of Begum Khaleda Zia is an irreparable loss for the nation. Her ideals of political tolerance, dedication, and patriotism will remain a lasting inspiration for the country. The Bangladesh Rural Electrification Board prays for the eternal peace of her soul and extends its heartfelt condolences to her bereaved family and well-wishers.
