New municipal road opens at Lalmohan

LALMOHAN, Bhola, Dec 12: The newly constructed road in Lalmohan Upazila of Bhola, built at a cost of Tk 2 crore, 60 lakh, 41 thousand and 739, was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Dr. Shamin Rahman. 

He inaugurated the RCC road from the launch ghat of Ward No. 6 of the municipality to the Borno road on Thursday afternoon. 

The road was constructed under the Coastal Towns Climate Resilient Project, implemented by the Lalmohan Municipality.
Present at the time were Lalmohan Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) and Municipal Administrator Md. Shah Aziz, Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Md. Rezwanul Haque, Municipal Executive Officer Md. Arif Hossain, Executive Engineer Abdus Sattar, and many others.

Earlier, as part of the programme organized by the Lalmohan Upazila Administration, Bhola District Administrator Dr. Shamin Rahman participated as the chief guest in an exchange of views meeting with people from various classes and professions at the Upazila Parishad hallroom.
