Sharif Osman Hadi transferred from Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) to Evercare Hospital in the capital following the decision of his family.

Brigadier General Md Asaduzzaman, Director of DMCH, confirmed the transfer on Friday evening and said that surgeons did not find any bullet lodged in Hadi’s head during examination and surgery.

Hadi was critically injured on Friday afternoon when unidentified assailants opened fire on him in the Paltan area of Dhaka. He sustained a gunshot wound to the head and was immediately rushed to DMCH for urgent treatment.

Authorities continue to investigate the attack, while Hadi remains in critical condition at Evercare Hospital, where a team of specialists is providing intensive care.

The update that no bullet was found in his head brings some relief amid the tense situation surrounding the attack.
