DMP on alert to catch gunmen behind attack on Hadi

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has launched an intensive operation to apprehend the attackers involved in the shooting of Sharif Osman Hadi.

DMP Commissioner Sheikh Md Sajjat Ali briefed reporters on Friday afternoon, confirming that Hadi was critically injured after being shot by unidentified assailants.

He is currently undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical College Hospital, where his condition is reported to be very serious.
The commissioner said, “A massive operation is underway to track down the miscreants who fired at Osman Hadi. No matter where they are hiding, we will find them and bring them under the law.”

Authorities have intensified investigations across the city following the attack, collecting evidence, reviewing CCTV footage, and interrogating witnesses to ensure the perpetrators are swiftly brought to justice.
