'BNP will join polls under Tarique Rahman's leadership'

BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman will return home soon, everything is being prepared, said BNP Standing Committee member Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury on Saturday.

''Tarique Rahman will return home and the party will participate in the national elections under his leadership, said Amir Khasru during briefing to reporters at a programme in the city's Banani hotel.

When asking about Dr Zubaida Rahman's debut to the politics, he said, ''It is her personal decision.''

Amir Khasru Mahmud said, "Tarique Rahman will return at any time. Those who spread rumors that he will not come, will spread them."
