Man killed, 5 injured in Ctg truck-microbus collision

A man was killed and five others were injured in a collision between a truck and a microbus at Farhadabad area of Hathazari upazila in Chattogram district on Friday morning.

The deceased was identified as Md Kawser, further details is yet to be known.

According to locals, the incident occurred in front of Farhadabad High School on Hathazari–Nazirhat regional road when both vehicles collided, leaving one dead on the spot and five others injured.
Later, locals rescued the injured and rushed them to Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) for treatment.

Nazirhat Highway Police Station sub-inspector (SI) Md Shahed confirmed the incident and said that the vehicles were seized in this connection.

CMCH police outpost sub-inspector Alauddin said that the injured are undergoing treatment at the hospital.
