Zubaida Rahman arrives Evercare Hospital

Dr Zubaida Rahman, wife of BNP’s Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman, has arrived at Evercare Hospital in the capital. She reached the hospital at around 11:54 AM on Friday.

Earlier, the flight carrying her landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at around 10:45 AM. She departed London on Thursday (4 December) afternoon from Heathrow Airport.

Meanwhile, BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has said that the plan to take BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia to London has been delayed because the special air ambulance sent by the Emir of Qatar has not yet arrived.
He said, "Due to a technical fault, the air ambulance is not coming on Friday. If all goes well, it may arrive on Saturday. If Madam’s physical condition allows and the medical board approves, InshaAllah she will fly next Sunday."
