A
two-day conference titled "3rd International Conference on Green
Architecture (ICGrA 2025)" has begun at the Chittagong University of
Engineering and Technology (CUET).
The conference was organised
by the Green Architecture Cell of the Department of Architecture at the
university's central auditorium on Thursday.
Chittagong
University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr
Mahmud Abdul Matin Bhuiyan was present as the chief guest at the event.
Keynote
addresses were delivered by Associate Prof. Dr Masa Noguchi of the
University of Melbourne's Faculty of Architecture, Building and
Planning, Australia, and Ar Kashhef Mahbub Chowdhury, the principal
architect of Urbana Bangladesh.
CUET Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr
Mahmud Abdul Matin Bhuiyan said that the youth are the future builders
of sustainable Bangladesh. The creativity, research and innovative
vision of young people will ensure a liveable Bangladesh in the future.
In today's world, universities are not just institutions that impart
knowledge but also drivers of innovation, policy influence and
industrial transformation.
A total of 16 technical sessions will
be held in the organised conference. In addition, there will be a
poster exhibition, a joint international PhD research seminar and 5
parallel workshops on environmental architecture.
In addition, 6
PhD research papers from different countries will be presented. A total
of 150 papers will be submitted to the conference, out of which more
than 80 papers will be presented in 16 sessions in 2 days, and more than
40 posters will be presented.

were present on the occasion.
