Bangladesh Petroleum Exploration and Production Company Limited (BAPEX) has organised its 36th annual general meeting at BAPEX Bhaban, Kawran Bazar in the capital on Tuesday, said a press release.
Chairman Istiaque Ahmad presided over the meeting.
Audit report and the audited financial statements for the financial year 2024-25 of the company were approved by shareholders at the meeting.
During the financial year, the total income and expenditure of the company was Tk 721.53 crore and Tk 401.85 crore respectively.
Company's profit after tax was Tk 218.45 crore. During the year, the company has deposited Tk 372.04 crore as government revenue to the national treasury, the release said.
In the meeting, Shareholders and board members expressed their satisfaction in the overall activities of the company during the period and provided suggestions and guidance on various issues for the better functioning of the company.
