Price of 12kg LPG cylinder raised by Tk 38

Bangladesh Energy Regu-latory Commission (BERC) increased the retail price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) by Tk 38 for a 12kg cylinder from December 2.

On Tuesday, BERC Chairman Jalal Ahmed made this announcement stating that the retail price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) to a 12kg cylinder to Tk 1,253, up by Tk 38 from November's price of Tk 1,215, in line with the international market.

At the same time, the price of autogas, LPG used as fuel in vehicles, has been revised upward from Tk 55.58 per litre to Tk 57.32 per litre, he added.

The regulator has also adjusted the price of autogas, setting it at Tk 57.32 per litre, up from Tk 55.58.
