More UK, Chinese medical teams to join Khaleda Zia’s treatment

Two more medical teams from the United Kingdom and China are expected to arrive in Dhaka on Wednesday to assist the treatment of BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia.

BNP Media Cell member Shayrul Kabir Khan confirmed the development on Tuesday night, quoting party Standing Committee member and Khaleda’s personal physician, Prof. Dr. AZM Zahid Hossain.

Khaleda Zia’s family and party have called on the nation to pray for her swift recovery.

The former prime minister has been receiving treatment at Evercare Hospital in Dhaka’s Bashundhara area since 23 November.
