DU VC meets Pakistan Higher Education Commission delegation

Dhaka University Vice Chancellor (VC) Professor Dr Niaz Ahmed Khan met a six-member delegation led by Project Director of Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan Jehanzeb Khan at his office on Monday.

Representatives from various universities in Pakistan were also present at the event.

During the meeting, they discussed various issues of mutual interest, said a press release.

Views were exchanged on the possibility of launching joint collaborative education and research programmes between Dhaka University and various universities in Pakistan.

Jehanzeb Khan expressed interest in working with Dhaka University to strengthen cooperation in the field of education and research.

VC Dr Niaz Ahmed Khan briefed the delegation about the brief history, educational programmes and research progress of Dhaka University.

He laid emphasis on increasing partnerships and networks with global educational and research institutions to improve education and research.
