Five more people died of dengue while 636 patients were newly admitted to hospitals across the country on Sunday in the past 24 hours.
In the past 24 hours, 636 patients were newly admitted with dengue across the country, including 75 in Barisal Division, 95 in Chattogram Division, 116 in Dhaka Division (outside city corporations), 147 in Dhaka North City Corporation, 74 in Dhaka South City Corporation, 56 in Khulna Division, 45 in Mymensingh Division, 17 in Rajshahi Division, 2 in Rangpur Division, and 9 in Sylhet Division.
Meanwhile, 803 dengue patients were discharged in the last 24 hours. So far this year, a total of 92,025 patients have been discharged.
From January to now in 2025, a total of 94,402 dengue patients have been hospitalized in the country, with 382 deaths reported.
For context, in 2024, 101,214 patients were hospitalized due to dengue, and 575 people died. In 2023, 1,705 people died of dengue, while 321,179 were hospitalised.
