BNP to hold nationwide prayers for Khaleda Zia’s recovery

Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) will organise special prayers across the country on Friday, following Jummah prayers, seeking the speedy recovery of party chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia.

According to BNP Media Cell, prayers will be offered at mosques in Dhaka and throughout the country as part of the party’s initiative to pray for the quick recovery of “Mother of Democracy.”

The BNP, along with its affiliated and associate organizations, has urged party members and the general public nationwide to participate in the special prayers.
The party also requested members of other religious communities to offer prayers for Khaleda Zia’s recovery at their respective places of worship, including temples, churches and pagodas.
